HOWDY!
I’m Mel Mintz, a digital illustrator based in Cleveland, OH. My work can best be described as ENERGETIC, VIBRANT, and FUN! I focus on illustration for print and digital viewings, and utilize visual storytelling, fun shapes, and textures in my work. Each mark is sketched by hand on an iPad Pro, or with pen and paper. When I’m not in the studio, I’m out bird-watching, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing video games.
I love working with themes involving nature, food, fantasy, and characters learning unconventional lessons. Many of my narratives revolve around mental health, identity, or my fascination with our natural world. If you need a colorful spark to your project, I might be your missing ingredient!
